School Nurse

Our School Nurse is part of the Hinckley School Nursing Team based at Hinckley Health Centre -0116 2153248.  The role of the school nurse is to support children and families in meeting their health needs.  School nurses contribute to reducing health inequalities by helping children and young people to make healthy choices and addressing the wider influences that can undermine these choices.

We have also provided links below to help parents with their children's health. These guidance notes have been issued by the NHS to support parents to understand more about childhood illness, helping them to feel more in control.

It is more important than ever for parents to know how to keep their children healthy in cold weather, and what to do if they are suffering from a cough, cold, earache or sore throat.

Please watch this short film giving information on the services offered by our School Nurse.
